Photographic Perspective
Photographic perspective refers to how a photo conveys depth and spatial relationships between objects. It is influenced by the camera's position, angle, and lens. Perspective determines how large or small objects appear relative to each other and how distant elements seem in the scene. For example, objects closer to the camera appear larger, while those farther away appear smaller. Changing the camera angle or using different focal lengths can emphasize or diminish this sense of depth, guiding the viewer’s eye and creating a sense of three-dimensionality within a two-dimensional image.
