photocopier
A photocopier is a machine that makes exact duplicate copies of physical documents or images. It works by using a combination of light, electrical charges, and toner (powdered ink). The original document is illuminated, and the image is transferred onto a photosensitive surface that holds an electric charge. Toner is then attracted to the charged areas and transferred onto paper, which is subsequently fused using heat to produce a clear, permanent copy. Photocopiers are widely used in offices for quick, efficient reproduction of documents.
