Philosophical Materialism

Philosophical materialism is the view that everything that exists is made of physical matter. It argues that all phenomena, including consciousness, thoughts, and emotions, can ultimately be explained by interactions of particles and energy in the physical universe. There is no need to invoke spiritual or supernatural forces to understand reality. This perspective emphasizes that reality is fundamentally material, and that understanding the physical world is key to understanding everything within it, including human experience.
