Philippine Airlines Flight 434 was a scheduled flight from Manila to Tokyo on December 11, 1994. At approximately 5,800 meters altitude, a bomb exploded onboard, caused by a disgruntled worker, resulting in a fire and loss of control. The aircraft, a Boeing 737-400, tragically crashed into the sea near Lubao, Philippines, killing 24 of the 56 onboard.
