Phenomena and Noumena
Phenomena are the things we experience through our senses, such as color, sound, and texture—they are appearances shaped by our perception. Noumena refer to the "things-in-themselves," or the reality that exists independently of our perception, which we cannot directly know. In simpler terms, phenomena are how the world appears to us, while noumena are the actual, underlying reality that remains beyond our direct awareness. This distinction highlights the limits of human knowledge and the idea that our perception may not reveal the true nature of things.
