Phalanx Tactics

Phalanx tactics originate from ancient warfare, where soldiers (phalangites) lined up shoulder-to-shoulder in tight ranks with overlapping shields and long spears. This formation created a nearly impenetrable wall, offering protection and maximizing offensive power. The primary goal was to maintain discipline and cohesion, making it difficult for enemies to break through. Although rooted in ancient history, similar principles of layered defense and coordinated movement are still used in modern military and organizational strategies to ensure strength through unity and structured formation.
