PfP (Partnership for Peace)

The Partnership for Peace (PfP) is a NATO program launched in 1994 to build trust and cooperation between NATO members and non-member countries in Europe and beyond. It aims to promote security, stability, and democracy through joint training, exercises, and political dialogues. PfP helps partner nations modernize their armed forces and collaborate on regional security issues, ultimately fostering a collaborative approach to peace and stability. Participation is voluntary, and while it doesn’t grant NATO membership, it serves as a foundation for closer relations and potential future integration.
