
PET/MRI technology
PET/MRI combines two advanced imaging techniques: Positron Emission Tomography (PET) and Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI). PET detects metabolic activity by tracking radioactive tracers, revealing how tissues function, while MRI uses magnetic fields and radio waves to produce detailed images of soft tissues and structures. When combined, PET/MRI offers comprehensive information—both structural detail and metabolic function—in a single, non-invasive scan.
