Pessach

Passover, or Pesach, is a Jewish holiday commemorating the Israelites' liberation from slavery in Egypt around 3,000 years ago. It celebrates freedom and redemption, observed with a special dinner called the Seder, where families retell the story of escape, eat symbolic foods, and reflect on liberation’s significance. During Passover, there is a tradition to remove all chametz (leavened bread) from one's home, symbolizing purity and renewal. The holiday lasts eight days and emphasizes themes of faith, resilience, and freedom, connecting participants with their history and cultural identity.
