Pesach

Pesach, or Passover, is a Jewish holiday commemorating the Israelites' liberation from slavery in Egypt, as described in the Hebrew Bible. Celebrated annually in the spring, it involves a ritual meal called the Seder, where families retell this story, eat symbolic foods, and partake in rituals to reflect on freedom and deliverance. The holiday lasts seven or eight days, during which leavened bread is avoided to remember the hurried escape from Egypt. Pesach emphasizes themes of liberation, identity, and resilience, serving as a foundation for Jewish cultural and religious observance.
