Personal Deity

A personal deity is a divine being believed to have individual awareness, intentions, and a relationship with humans. Unlike abstract or impersonal concepts of the divine, a personal deity can be thought of as a conscious, intentional entity who cares about and interacts with people—listening, responding, and guiding.
