Persistent Volumes

Persistent Volumes (PVs) are a way to store data outside of a specific application in a containerized environment, ensuring data remains available even if the application or container restarts. Think of a PV as a dedicated storage space in a data center, like a shared hard drive, that applications can access whenever needed. This allows data to be persistent, reliable, and decoupled from the lifecycle of individual applications, making it easier to manage, back up, and scale data storage in cloud or Kubernetes environments.
