Permanent Wave

A permanent wave, commonly called a "perm," is a chemical treatment that changes the natural shape of hair to create lasting curls or waves. The process involves applying chemicals that break the hair’s internal structure, then wrapping the hair around rods or rollers to set the new shape. Once the desired wave pattern is achieved, a neutralizer is used to rebuild the hair’s structure in its new form, locking in the curl. The result lasts several months and can enhance or redefine a person’s hairstyle, with the duration depending on hair type and care.
