Perception Systems

Perception systems refer to the technology that allows machines, such as robots or autonomous vehicles, to interpret and understand their environment. They use sensors (like cameras, lidar, or radar) to gather data and processing algorithms to analyze this information. This enables the system to recognize objects, determine their position and movement, and make informed decisions. Essentially, perception systems give machines a form of "senses" and the ability to perceive and respond appropriately to their surroundings, facilitating tasks like navigation, obstacle avoidance, and interaction with humans.
