Perception and Knowledge
Perception refers to how we interpret and understand the world around us through our senses—what we see, hear, touch, etc. Knowledge, on the other hand, involves the beliefs and information we hold to be true, often based on our perceptions, reasoning, and experiences. In the context of Theories of Knowledge (epistemology), philosophers explore questions like: How do we know what we know? Can we trust our perceptions? This examination helps us understand the relationship between our senses, our thoughts, and the reality we experience, ultimately shaping our understanding of truth and belief.
