
People's Will
People’s Will was a revolutionary Russian revolutionary organization founded in 1879, dedicated to overthrowing the Tsarist autocracy and establishing a socialist government. It aimed to achieve political change through targeted acts of violence, including assassinations of government officials. The group believed that radical action was necessary to end oppressive rule and inspire revolutionary momentum among the masses. Although responsible for significant upheaval, People’s Will also faced criticism for its violent methods. Its activities played a notable role in shaping revolutionary movements in Russia and contributed ultimately to the fall of the Tsarist regime.
