People of Color (POC)
People of Color (POC) is a collective term used to describe individuals who are not considered white or of European descent. It includes diverse racial and ethnic groups such as Black, Latino, Asian, Indigenous, and Pacific Islander communities. The term highlights shared experiences related to systemic racism, discrimination, and social marginalization, while recognizing the unique cultures and histories of each group. POC emphasizes solidarity and awareness of ongoing social justice issues faced by non-white populations in many societies.
