Penny
A penny is a small unit of U.S. currency worth one cent, or 1/100th of a dollar. It's typically made of copper-plated zinc and features the profile of a former U.S. president, Abraham Lincoln. Pennies are used for everyday small transactions and as denominations for making change. Although their monetary value is minimal, they hold cultural and historical significance. Collectors often seek pennies for their designs and minting varieties. Despite debates about their practicality, pennies remain a recognizable symbol of the U.S. monetary system.
