Pelvic floor muscle exercises

Pelvic floor muscle exercises involve contracting and relaxing the muscles that support your bladder, bowel, and, for women, the uterus. These exercises strengthen these muscles, which can improve bladder and bowel control, reduce the risk of leaks, and support pelvic organs. To do them, identify the muscles by stopping urination midstream or tightening around the anus. Then, contract these muscles for a few seconds, relax, and repeat. Regular practice can enhance muscle tone, promote better pelvic health, and help manage or prevent issues like incontinence.
