Pegasus (aircraft)

The Pegasus is a type of aircraft known as a tiltrotor, capable of vertical takeoff and landing like a helicopter and flying forward like a fixed-wing airplane. It features rotors mounted on rotating nacelles at the ends of wings, which tilt to transition between vertical and horizontal flight. This design allows the Pegasus to operate in locations without runways and achieve higher speeds and longer ranges than traditional helicopters.
