Peer Assistance and Review
Peer Assistance and Review (PAR) is a professional process where teachers collaborate to evaluate and improve each other's teaching methods. Colleagues observe classroom practices, provide constructive feedback, and set goals for development. The goal is to enhance teaching quality through mutual support, accountability, and ongoing learning. PAR fosters a professional community focused on growth, helping teachers refine their skills to better support students. It’s a voluntary, collaborative approach centered on continuous improvement rather than punishment or evaluation for disciplinary reasons.
