Pedro Martínez

Pedro Martínez is a former professional baseball pitcher from the Dominican Republic, widely regarded as one of the greatest pitchers in Major League Baseball (MLB) history. He played primarily for the Boston Red Sox, Montréal Expos, and New York Mets. Known for his exceptional skills, including a powerful fastball and impressive control, Martínez won three Cy Young Awards, which are given to the best pitchers in the league. He was also instrumental in helping the Red Sox win the 2004 World Series, breaking an 86-year championship drought. Martínez was inducted into the Baseball Hall of Fame in 2015.
