Pediatric intensivist

A pediatric intensivist is a specially trained doctor who cares for critically ill children in Intensive Care Units (ICUs). They have expertise in managing complex medical conditions, such as severe infections, respiratory problems, or post-surgery recovery, in infants and children. These doctors coordinate multidisciplinary care, monitor vital signs, and adjust treatments to help children recover and stabilize. Their goal is to provide expert, compassionate care during the most fragile times in a child's health, working alongside nurses and other specialists to ensure the best possible outcome.
