Pediatric CPR

Pediatric CPR is a lifesaving technique used for infants and children experiencing cardiac arrest. It involves checking responsiveness, calling for help, and ensuring the airway is clear. If the child isn't breathing, provide rescue breaths followed by chest compressions. For infants, use two fingers in the center of the chest and compress about 1.5 inches deep at a rate of 100-120 compressions per minute. For children, use one or two hands, compressing 2 inches deep. Continue with cycles of 30 compressions and 2 breaths until medical help arrives or the child shows signs of life. Familiarity with pediatric CPR can save lives.
