PCB design involves creating the layout for a printed circuit board, which connects electronic components like chips, resistors, and capacitors to enable a device to function. Designers plan where each component will sit and draw precise pathways, called traces, that electrically connect them. The goal is to ensure the circuit works efficiently, is compact, and avoids issues like shorts or interference.
