Paulk Model
The Paulk Model, also known as the Capability Maturity Model (CMM), is a framework used by organizations to improve and measure their software development processes. It outlines five levels of maturity, from initial (ad-hoc, chaotic processes) to optimized (continuous improvement with best practices). As organizations progress through these levels, their processes become more defined, predictable, and efficient, leading to higher-quality products. The model helps organizations identify their current maturity level, set goals for improvement, and implement best practices systematically to achieve better performance and reliability.
