PATRIMONIO, or "patrimony," refers to the total assets and resources owned by an individual, organization, or country. It includes everything of value—such as property, savings, investments, and cultural heritage—that contributes to their wealth or identity. In financial terms, it represents net worth: the difference between what is owned (assets) and what is owed (liabilities). More broadly, patrimony also reflects cultural or historical assets that are part of a community’s or nation’s identity, highlighting both material wealth and intangible heritage that are preserved and valued over time.
