Pasyon

Pasyon is a Filipino religious tradition that involves reciting or singing an epic narrative of Jesus Christ's life, Passion, death, and resurrection. Usually performed during Holy Week, especially on Good Friday, it aims to deepen faith and reflection on Christ’s sacrifice. The Pasyon is often chanted or sung in verses, creating a communal experience that blends spiritual devotion with cultural expression. It preserves and shares the story of Christ in a way that is both meaningful for believers and a significant part of Filipino heritage.
