Pascals Wager

Pascal’s Wager is a philosophical argument suggesting that believing in God is a rational choice because the potential benefits outweigh the risks. If God exists, believing in Him could lead to eternal happiness; if He doesn’t, the loss is minimal—like some time or effort. Conversely, not believing could mean missing out on heaven if God exists, but risking eternal punishment if He does. Therefore, even without firm proof, it’s a safer “bet” to believe in God, since the potential gains are infinite and the losses finite, making belief the more rational choice.
