Party Whip
A Party Whip is an official in a legislative body responsible for ensuring party members vote in line with the party’s position. They coordinate communication between party leadership and members, manage attendance during voting, and encourage members to support party policies. The Whip also helps maintain party discipline, addresses members' concerns, and may offer incentives or warnings to sway votes. Essentially, they act as a liaison to ensure the party functions cohesively and efficiently during legislative processes.
