Partnership for Assessment of Readiness for College and Careers
The Partnership for Assessment of Readiness for College and Careers (PARCC) is a cooperative effort among states to develop standardized tests that measure students’ progress in key subjects like math and English/language arts. These assessments aim to ensure students are prepared for college and careers by providing consistent, reliable data on their skills. PARCC tests help educators identify areas where students need improvement and guide instructional decisions. The goal is to improve education quality and ensure that students graduate high school equipped with the skills necessary for success beyond school.
