Parsi diaspora
The Parsi diaspora refers to the migration and settlement of Zoroastrian Parsis, originally from Persia (Iran), who moved mainly to India centuries ago to escape religious persecution. Today, Parsis are a small, globally dispersed community with significant populations in India and some in other countries. Despite their reduced numbers, they’ve contributed notably to industry, science, and philanthropy. The diaspora faces challenges like declining population and maintaining cultural and religious traditions, but they continue to preserve their heritage while integrating into diverse societies worldwide.
