Parlamento Europeu

The Parlamento Europeu, or European Parliament, is the directly elected legislative body of the European Union (EU). It represents EU citizens and works alongside other EU institutions to create laws, approve budgets, and oversee policies affecting member countries. Parliamentarians, known as Members of the European Parliament (MEPs), debate issues, amend proposals, and make decisions on a wide range of topics such as trade, environment, and digital rights. The Parliament plays a key role in ensuring democratic accountability within the EU, giving citizens a voice in how the Union is governed.
