parlamentarisme
Parlamentarisme is a form of government where the executive branch (government) depends on the confidence of the legislative body (parliament) to stay in power. In this system, the prime minister and cabinet are usually chosen from the majority party or coalition in parliament, and they must maintain the support of that body to govern effectively. If they lose confidence—due to disagreement or a vote of no confidence—the government may be dissolved, leading to new elections or the formation of a new government. This system ensures that the executive remains accountable to elected representatives of the people.
