Parkinsonian features

Parkinsonian features refer to symptoms similar to those seen in Parkinson’s disease, such as tremors (shaking), rigidity (stiffness), slow movement (bradykinesia), and balance problems. These occur because of damage to parts of the brain that control movement and muscle coordination. While these symptoms are most common in Parkinson’s disease, they can also appear in other neurological conditions or as side effects of medications. Recognizing these features helps doctors determine the underlying cause and plan appropriate treatment to improve movement and quality of life.
