Park Geun-hye

Park Geun-hye is a South Korean politician who served as the country’s first female president from 2013 to 2017. She is the daughter of Park Chung-hee, a former military dictator and president. Her leadership was marked by efforts to boost the economy and strengthen national security, but her presidency was also marred by a major corruption scandal involving her close confidante.
