Paris Peace Talks

The Paris Peace Talks were negotiations held from 1968 to 1973 aimed at ending the Vietnam War between North Vietnam, South Vietnam, the United States, and other parties. These talks sought to establish a peace agreement, involving discussions on ceasefires, withdrawal of U.S. troops, and political future of Vietnam. Despite initial progress, the negotiations faced delays and disagreements, ultimately leading to the signing of a peace accord in January 1973. The talks marked an important step toward ending U.S. involvement in Vietnam and contributed to the reunification of Vietnam under communist control.
