Paraglider (aileron)

A paraglider aileron is a control surface used to manage the roll or tilt of the wing during flight. Unlike fixed parts, it moves in response to the pilot’s inputs via brake toggles or aileron controls, allowing precise adjustments to the wing’s shape. These movements help the pilot steer and stabilize the glider by changing the pressure and angle on different parts of the wing, enabling smooth turns and improved handling. While called "ailerons" in aeronautics, in paragliding, these are typically achieved through brake lines and weight shifts rather than separate control surfaces, providing the pilot with responsive and effective control of the glider’s direction and attitude.
