Parable of the Weeds

The Parable of the Weeds, found in Matthew 13:24-30, illustrates patience and discernment in dealing with good and evil together. A farmer sows wheat, but an enemy plants weeds among the crop. When both grow, the farmer advises waiting until harvest to separate the wheat from the weeds, preventing harm to the good plants. This teaches that in life and communities, both righteous and wrongdoers coexist, and it’s wise to leave judgment to a higher authority, allowing for growth and eventual justice. It underscores patience and faith in divine timing for sorting good from evil.
