Panzer divisions
Panzer divisions are large, organized military units of the German Army, primarily during World War II, specializing in armored warfare. These divisions consisted of tanks, armored vehicles, infantry, artillery, and support units, designed to conduct rapid, combined-arms operations. Their purpose was to breakthrough enemy lines, pursue retreating forces, and dominate the battlefield through mobility and firepower. Essentially, a Panzer division is a mobile, self-sufficient force that combines different military capabilities to execute flexible offensive and defensive strategies.
