Panuveitis

Panuveitis is a type of uveitis, which is inflammation of the uvea, the middle layer of the eye. Unlike other forms that affect only specific parts, panuveitis involves all three components: the iris (anterior), ciliary body (middle), and choroid (posterior). This condition can cause symptoms such as blurred vision, eye pain, and redness, and may stem from various causes, including autoimmune diseases or infections. Effective treatment is essential to prevent complications, such as vision loss, and often includes anti-inflammatory medications or immunosuppressants, depending on the underlying cause.
