Pan-American Union

The Pan-American Union was established in 1910 as a regional organization aimed at promoting collaboration and understanding among countries of the Americas. It served as a platform for diplomatic dialogue, fostering economic development, cultural exchange, and regional peace. Originally created to coordinate efforts and share information, it laid the groundwork for later organizations like the Organization of American States (OAS). The Union operated as a diplomatic hub until it was reorganized in 1948, transitioning into the OAS, which continues to work on issues like democracy, development, and security across the Western Hemisphere.
