Pamyat
Pamyat is a Russian nationalist organization founded in the late 1970s that promotes Russian history, culture, and Orthodox Christianity, often emphasizing traditional values. While initially focused on cultural preservation, it became associated with far-right ideas, including anti-Semitic, xenophobic, and ultra-nationalist sentiments. Pamyat rejected Soviet modernization, advocating for a return to perceived traditional Russian moral and spiritual roots. Its activities included demonstrations and publications aimed at fostering national pride, but its extremist views led to widespread controversy and condemnation, both within Russia and internationally.
