Pamela Courson

Pamela Courson was an American woman best known as the intimate partner of musician Jim Morrison, lead singer of The Doors. She met Morrison in 1965 and was his muse and companion until his death in 1971. Courson was often associated with the counterculture scene of the 1960s and became a symbol of that era's bohemian lifestyle. She was also involved in Morrison’s artistic and personal life, sharing his interests and struggles. After Morrison's death, Courson's own life was marked by her lingering connection to him and her untimely death from a heroin overdose in 1974.
