Palestine refugees
Palestine refugees are individuals who fled or were forced to leave their homes in Palestine during the 1948 Arab-Israeli conflict and subsequent wars. Many have since lived in refugee camps across neighboring countries like Jordan, Lebanon, and Syria, as well as within the Palestinian territories. They often lack full citizenship rights and face economic, social, and legal challenges. The United Nations Relief and Works Agency (UNRWA) provides humanitarian aid and education to these refugees. Their status remains a central issue in the Israeli-Palestinian conflict, with many advocating for their right to return or resettlement.
