Paleolithic Music
Paleolithic music refers to the earliest known sound expressions created by humans during the Paleolithic era, roughly 2.5 million to 10,000 years ago. While no actual music recordings exist from that time, researchers believe early humans made sounds using their voices, bones, and natural objects like stones and animal hides. These sounds likely served purposes such as communication, ritual, or social bonding. Evidence comes from archaeological finds like flutes made from bird bones and teeth, indicating that intentional sound-making and rhythmic patterns played a role in prehistoric human life and culture.
