Paleolithic Age
The Paleolithic Age, also known as the Old Stone Age, lasted from about 2.5 million years ago to around 10,000 BCE. It marks the earliest period of human history, when our ancestors lived as hunter-gatherers, relying on wild plants and animals for food. They created simple tools made from stone, bone, and wood, and developed art shown in cave paintings. This era was crucial for human evolution, as it shaped social structures and cultural practices. The transition to agriculture and settled communities marked the end of the Paleolithic, leading into the Neolithic Age.
