Palaeolithic Era
The Paleolithic Era, also known as the Old Stone Age, is the time period when early humans first used stone tools. It began about 2.5 million years ago and lasted until around 10,000 years ago. During this time, humans were hunter-gatherers, roaming vast areas to hunt animals and gather plants for food. They lived in small groups, used fire, and gradually developed basic tools and early forms of communication. This era covers the longest phase of human history and laid the foundation for future cultural and technological developments.
