Pakuan Pajajaran
Pakuan Pajajaran was the capital of the Sunda Kingdom, a powerful and influential Hindu-Buddhist kingdom in western Java, Indonesia, from the 14th to the 16th century. It was a thriving political, economic, and cultural center, known for its advanced administration and vibrant trade. Located near modern-day Bogor, Pakuan Pajajaran played a key role in regional politics and was a hub for art and religion. Its decline coincided with the rise of Islamic sultanates and Portuguese influence in the 16th century, leading to the kingdom’s eventual fall. Today, it is remembered as an important part of Indonesian history.
