Pace attack
A pace attack is a bowling strategy used in cricket where fast bowlers aim to bowl at high speeds to challenge batsmen. They focus on delivering the ball with extra pace, often combined with movement in the air (swing) or off the pitch (seam), to make it difficult for the batsman to predict and play. The goal is to unsettle the batter quickly, forcing mistakes or dismissals. Pace attacks are typically led by some of the quickest bowlers on the team and are most effective when combined with accuracy and strategic variations.
